“The Wall That Heals” officially opened at the fairgrounds in Franklinton on Thursday morning, with a solemn ceremony that included a flyover and remembrance of deceased veterans.

The exhibit will remain in place until Sunday at 1 p.m., when a closing ceremony is held.

Admission is free.
