Edith Harry Roberts was born on Aug. 18, 1931, in Angie, to the late William Harry and the late Johnnie Barr Harry. She departed this life on Nov. 11, 2018.

She leaves to mourn: her daughter, Johnnie Louise (Samuel) McCall of Nolensville, Tenn.; sons, Joe Willie (Vernadine) Roberts of Angie, and Samuel (Mary) Fisher of Moss Point, Miss.; stepson, Bernard Kidd of Angie; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Roberts; and her son, Andrew Roberts.

The viewing will be held at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa on Monday, Nov. 19, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., with a family hour from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church in Angie, with the Rev. Terrence August officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Cemetery.
