Leila Viverito

Mrs. Leila Ann Viverito (Halula), of Pine, passed away unexpectedly in North Oaks Hospital on Oct. 25, 2018, in Hammond, at the age of 26.

Leila is survived by her parents, George and Betty Halula of Saucier, Miss.; husband, Donald Viverito III; children, Isabella Johnson, Anastasio Viverito, Anayah Viverito, Donald Viverito IV, Makayla Viverito, and Cataleya Viverito; siblings, Bridgett Dugan of Gautier, Miss., Sara Halula of Ocean Springs, Miss., Matthew Halula of Saucier, and Lucas Halula of Saucier.

Leila was born on Feb. 25, 1992, in Biloxi, Miss. She was a longtime resident of Saucier and recently moved to Washington Parish in 2016. She married Donald Viverito III, her best friend and soul mate, in 2018. After moving to Washington Parish, Leila became a stay-at-home mom to their combined five children. Over the next two years, the couple welcomed one child, and was expecting their second, Rosaleigh Ann, and Leila was set about teaching them to live a free and fulfilled life of love. Her children remember her as a loving mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Leila was accomplished at arts and crafts and often painted for family and friends. She was a dedicated individual who loved helping others and who was passionate about raising her children.

A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 3, at noon at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home. The Rev. Charlie Perkins Jr. will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Leila’s life.
