Gary Perry

Gary E. Perry passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at the age of 68.

Gary was born in Bogalusa to W.E. Perry and Geraldine (Perry) Crawford. He graduated from Covington High and went on to join the U.S. Navy, where he worked overseas. After serving his country he worked offshore for a number of years, and later got his nursing degree at Pearl River Community College. Gary served our community working with several hospitals, with the most recent being Lakeview Regional Medical Center.

Gary is survived by his mother, Geraldine Crawford of Bush; one brother, Alan Crawford of Bush; one sister, Lisa Crawford of Bush; four sons, Joshua Shay Perry, William Cade Perry, Alan Tanner Perry and Esbon Charles Perry; one daughter, Kebbie Rosenberg; four grandchildren, Sadie Perry, Kenli Perry, Lilli Rosenberg, and one expected; and nieces and nephews, Crystal McNabb, Bo Crawford, Dylan Crawford, Derrick Crawford and Hunter Lasiagnne.

Gary is preceded in death by his father, W.E. Perry; and one sister, Christine McNabb. He will be sadly missed by many special friends and family members.

Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the services at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, Nov. 1. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation continued Friday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. until services began at 10 a.m. Interment immediately followed at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Bush. Officiating were the Rev. Paul Cantrelle and the Rev. Bill Moon.
