Betty Dipietro Hines passed away on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, at the age of 70. She was born on July 3, 1948, in Bogalusa.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 24 years, Dale Hines; her son, Lance (Alyssa) Melder of Sequim, Wash.; her daughter, Michelle (Ben) Mohon of Bogalusa; her six grandchildren, Myiah, Aeson, and Levi Melder of Sequim, Aaron Hines, Emily Hines, and Alyssa Swanson of Rogers, Ark.; step-son, Brad (Kerry) Hines of Rogers; and step-daughter, Laura Hines of Rogers. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Blanche Dipietro; her brother, Ricco Dipietro; and her sister, Lisa Dipietro.

A celebration of the life of Betty Dipietro Hines will be at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa on Sunday, Nov. 4. The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will continue until the service begins at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Allen will officiate.
