Jo Ann McGehee Ingram passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at her residence in Bogalusa, at the age of 85. She was born on May 9, 1933, in Kentwood. On Nov. 21, 1953, she married the love of her life, Mr. Franklin Murry Ingram.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Paul (Rachael Ingram) of Bogalusa; her daughter, Jane Ingram Donaldson of Goldsboro, N.C.; two sisters, Katherine “Kitty” Bryan of Kentwood, and Bobbie Coltharp of Utah; eight grandchildren, Kelli Redmond McGraw of North Carolina, Kyla Harrison (Wade) Floyd of North Carolina, Kaitlyn Harrison of North Carolina, Matthew Donaldson of North Carolina, Taylor (Joe) Randel of New York, Luke Salvatore of New York, Elizabeth Ingram (Zachary) Harper of Louisiana, and Mabry Ingram (Cody) Gann of Louisiana; and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded by her treasured husband, Mr. Franklin Murry Ingram; her mother and father, Mr. E. Holt McGehee and Mrs. Gladys McDaniel McGehee; a daughter, Jean Ingram Salvatore; and one sister, Jerry Benefield.

Mrs. Ingram’s service will be at First Church in Bogalusa on Saturday, Nov. 3. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until the funeral service begins at noon. The Rev. Kevin Cox and the Rev. Travis Houston will officiate. Interment will follow at East Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Kentwood.

The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa.
