Doris Graves

Doris Rogers Graves passed away peacefully at a family residence in Angie at the age of 75. She was of the Baptist faith.

Doris is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Graves of Ashland, Miss.; one sister, Jeannette Henley and her husband Lynn of Angie; three step-children, Kenny Graves and his wife Sharon of Pine Grove, Miss., Deena Smith and her husband Tay of Ripley, Miss., Cindy Mauney and her husband Keith of Pine Grove; a special niece, Tiffani and her husband Brandon of Angie; two nephews, Billy Joe Rogers and his wife Tyrie of Bogalusa, Rodney Henley; and one niece, Lynnette Pounds and her husband Jody of Angie.

She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends; and also her beloved pet, “Puzzle.”

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Prentiss and Letha Gerald Rogers; and three brothers, Jimmy Ray Rogers, Billy Ray Rogers and Green Ray Rogers.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend services at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 24, where visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Continued visitation will begin on Thursday, Oct. 25, at 9 a.m. until the service time at 2 p.m. The service will be officiated by Benny Schillings, assisted by Pastor Joe Author. Interment will immediately follow at the Old Gerald Cemetery in Pine.
