Citizens will have the opportunity next week to begin casting their ballots for the Tuesday, Nov. 6 election, as early voting opens in Washington Parish.

Early voting will open Tuesday, Oct. 23, and will continue through Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Northshore Technical Community College at 1710 Sullivan Drive in Bogalusa. Early voting will be available every day, except for Sunday, Oct. 28.

Early voting is also offered at the Washington Parish Courthouse in Franklinton, during the same dates and times.

Voters will need to bring a photo ID — either a driver’s license or state-issued ID.
