Betty Ruth Hickman Davis, 62, passed away peacefully on Oct. 14, 2018, at her home in Bogalusa.

She is the wife of Robert “Bob” Davis and beloved mother of Brandy Crain Hines and Louis “Benji” Davis of Bogalusa and Robert (Stacey) Davis of Houston, Texas. Betty is the doting grandmother of Brian “Hunter,” Ashton and Preston “Chase” Hines, Holden Oalmann, Jack and Tedder Davis and McKayka Lucus. Betty has a brother, Stanley (Elenor) Hickman of Slaughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis “Mutt” Hickman and Sadie Sylvest Hickman; sister, Linda Sue Erwin Winstead; and brother, Gary Hickman.

A special thanks to life long friend Donna Purvis and Interim Hospice for all their care and support through these difficult times.

A graveside service will be held at the Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Spring Valley Road on Friday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m. by family and friends.
