James Rosenthal Sr.

James Ray “Rosey” Rosenthal Sr. took his final ride on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, a resident of Angie, 62, born on May 3, 1956, in Memphis, Tenn. He was a retired police officer of 37 years, and a Class Director Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Taylor Rosenthal of Angie; three sons and their spouses, James and Dee Rosenthal of West Tawakoni, Texas, Matt and Millie Rosenthal of Jackson, Tenn., and Ben and Crystal Rosenthal of Trimble, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six brothers, Louis, Henry, Mark, Anthony, and Michael Rosenthal, and Charlie Taylor; and four sisters, Heather, Elizabeth, Suzanne and Melissa; and their families; and many special friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Rosenthal Sr. and Estelle Floyd Rosenthal; and a sister, Eva.

A celebration of life for James Ray “Rosey” Rosenthal Sr. will be Saturday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m., at 700 O. A. Green Road in Bogalusa.
