Dell McNeese Cooper passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at her residence in Bogalusa. She was 85 years old. She was born on Oct. 26, 1932, in Bogalusa.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Cooper of Bogalusa; her daughter, Jo Beth Cooper of Bogalusa; one brother, Clarence (Antionette) McNeese of Crossroads, Miss.; two sisters, Sally (Charles Ray) Perry of Henleyfield, Miss., and Emelda (J.S.) Jackson of Crossroads; four grandchildren, Scott Landry of Denham Springs, Shannon (Tommy) Trant of Lockport, Adam (Kasie) Cooper of Dallas, Texas, and Jamie (Ashley) Cooper of Wiggins, Miss.; she is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death her husband of 42 years, Spencer Warren Cooper Jr.; her parents, Ovid and Lucille McNeese; one son, Charles “Keith” Cooper Sr.; a grandson, Charles “Keith” Cooper Jr.; one great grandson, Brandon Landry; and a brother and sister, Elbert McNeese and Virginia Humphrey.

Visitation will be at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. and continue until the funeral service begins at 2 p.m. The Rev. Billy Smith and the Rev. Clay Norwood will officiate. Entombment will follow at Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum.
