Papa, (Danny Hanemann), was one of the most powerful actors I ever saw tread the boards. He loved the stage and he loved the energy and passion of the theatre and the arts.

For this reason, we have decided that there could be no better place to hold his memorial celebration than within the walls of one of the theatres he loved best.

Papa’s memory will be honored and his life will be celebrated at a love-filled gathering to be held at Playmakers Theatre, located at 19106 Playmakers Road in Covington. This will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

The afternoon will begin with a period of casual visiting after which we will take to the stage to share memories, laughs, stories and hopefully one final standing ovation to give Papa a send-off he would love.
