Thomas Doyle Penny, 79, passed away on Sept. 23, 2018, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. He was a resident of Bogalusa, and member of Annunciation Catholic Church. He retired from the Box Plant here in Bogalusa.

He is survived by two sons, Matthew Penny (Wanda) of Bogalusa, and Mark Elloitt Penny (Amy) of Bogalusa; one brother, Charles Edward Penny of Bogalusa; one half-sister, Carolyn Chatman of Bogalusa; grandchildren, Cameron Penny, Madison Penny Wascom, Seth Penny, Sydney Penny and Grace Penny; and one great-grandson, Connor Penny.

He is preceded in death by his wife, June Mixon Penny; his parents, Osa and Hazel Penny; brother, Osa Penny III; and sister, Meriam Crowe.

Visitation will be in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. until time for service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery. Father Pat Wattigny will officiate.
