On Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, God sent his Angel to North Oaks Hospital in Hammond to claim the soul of Linda Paulette Bell. Her battle with sickness came to an end when God said it is done, I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

She was born Oct. 24, 1946, to the late Ethel Bell and Clarence Robinson Sr. Linda attended Central Elementary School and graduated from Central Memorial High School with the class of 1966. Linda continued her education at McKinney Job Corps for Women in McKinney, Texas, where she was promoted to the rank of junior corpswoman.

Linda leaves to cherish her memories: her siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of cousins and friends.

The funeral service for Ms. Linda Bell will be Saturday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. at the Metropolitan Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Cook-Richmond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
