Mr. Willie J. Robinson was born Oct. 9, 1955, to Will Robinson and Erma Jean Baker Robinson and he departed this life on Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the age of 62.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., followed by the family hour from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 14, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Stanley Nathaniel officiating.

Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted friend, Teretha Johnson of Bogalusa; one brother, Albert Robinson of Bogalusa; four sisters, Nary Ann Robinson, Helen (Alejandro) Rodriguez, Annie (Marvin) Hughes of Bogalusa, and Alfreda Harris of McComb, Miss.; one great-aunt, Emma Walls of Kentwood; a step-daughter, Verneada (Erskine) Andrews; one step-grandson, Derrick Fland; four step-granddaughters, Tatiana Fland, Kierra Hall, Natavia Hall and Kensie Hall; one great-grandson, Ar’monie Johnson; one special nephew, Billie Terrell Robinson; two special friends, Ricky Jones and Walter Hooks of Bogalusa; and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Will and Erma Robinson; and two sisters, Janice Robinson and Juanita Johnson.
