Funeral services for Sylvia Case McNease, 78, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, at 2 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel in Picayune.

Visitation was Friday, Sept. 7, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Bro. Ray Taylor will officiate the service.

A native of Bogalusa, she was a retired Caregiver for Robette’s Quality Day Care. Sylvia and Glenda were active in the Red Hat’s Society for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Carriere, Miss. Sylvia was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John “J.C.” Calvin Case and Thelma King Case; her son, Michael Lane Amacker; her brother, George Case; her brother-in-law, Bobby Watts; and her niece, Lanita Ann Ard.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Richard McNease; her son, Kenneth L. Amacker; her sister, Glenda Case Watts; her sister-in-law, Georgia Faye Case; her brother-in-law, David Baron (Madeline) McNease; nieces and nephews, Robette Watts. Dewan Watts, Chip Case, David B. McNease Jr., and Kathy Tarter; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and her great-great-niece, Elisabeth Jade Webb.
