Officials with the Washington Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness announced Tuesday morning that Bogalusa High School’s gymnasium will be opened as a shelter at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

This shelter is for any residents who don’t feel safe in their current homes.

Those who come to the shelter are asked to bring the following items with them: medications, snacks, bedding essentials, and games, books, cards, etc., for children.
