District Attorney Warren Montgomery reported that a Washington Parish grand jury indicted Clyde Waymon Williams, 83, of Monette, Ark., on Tuesday, on the charges of first degree rape of a victim under 13 and sexual battery of a victim under 13.

Montgomery said that Williams is accused of raping an 11-year-old girl at a hotel in Franklinton in December 2017.

Assistant District Attorney Ysonde Boland presented the case to the grand jury.
