Kenneth Wayne Richard passed away on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at the age of 67. He is the son of the late Johnnie and Julie Richard, and a native of Bogalusa and River Ridge.

He is the husband of Tandalaya Scott Richard; father of Shaneka Shardey (Jerome) Green; grandfather of Jeremiah, Alissa and Alexander Green; and brother of Johnnie, Gregory, Elroy and Judy Richard, Melva McMillian and the late Katherine Heidleburg and Tim Richard.

He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, pastor, officers and members of Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, all neighboring churches and employees of Louis Armstrong International Airport are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration Service on Saturday, Aug. 25, at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, located at 1104 Poplas St. in Bogalusa, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Raymond Mims will officiate.

Visitation will be at Greater Ebenezer from 10 a.m. until the service.

A visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home, located at 11112 Jefferson Highway in River Ridge, on Friday, Aug. 24, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Interment will be in Bogalusa Cemetery.
