Wyvon Holliday

Wyvon Dykes Holliday, born Aug. 13, 1955, in Tylertown, Miss., passed away at her home on Aug. 14, 2018, at the age of 63. Wyvon was retired from the Bogalusa School System and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her mother, Ethel Broom Dykes; her children, Keith E. Holliday, Craig K. Holliday and Dewayne D. Holliday, all of Bogalusa; brothers, Dent Dykes Jr. (Sarah), Ronald G. Dykes and Phillip W. Dykes; a sister, Phillis Dykes Cone; grandchildren, Alyssa Holliday, Tomi Ann Holiday, Anna Beth Holliday, Tristen Holliday and Hadely Holliday; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dent Dykes Sr.; her husband, Richard “Doc” Holliday; a brother, Ben Bruce Dykes; maternal grandparents, William and Lela Mae Broom; and paternal grandparents, Plessie and Velma Gerald Dykes.
Wyvon was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 18, beginning at 10 a.m. until the service time at 2 p.m. Brother Tommy Pittman will officiate the services and will be assisted by Brother Fred Brumfield. The interment will follow in the Ponemah Cemetery.
