Gary Arnold Foil, 75, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at his residence in Bogalusa. He was born on Nov. 3, 1942, in Bogalusa. He worked for the Bogalusa Paper Mill for 43 years.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Foil of Bogalusa; a daughter, Kim Foil Readlinger of Mandeville; a grandson, Tyler Readlinger; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Doris (O’neal) Ard of Bogalusa, Melvia (J.M.) Barber of White Sand, Miss., and Joan (Gary) Rushing of Bogalusa; and his special dogs, Cookie and Daisy Mae.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Delos Foil and Marjorie Duncan Foil; his mother-in-law, Maud Pounds; his father-in-law, Edwin Pounds; and his brothers-in-law, Bobie Pounds, and Donald Pounds.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 16, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Funeral services began at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Marcus Rosa officiating.
