On Aug. 1, due to the retirement of a senior captain, Chief Kendall Bullen and the Bogalusa Police Department is proud to announce the promotions of the following officers.

Charles McDaniel, a 19-year veteran of the Bogalusa Police Department, was promoted to the rank of captain.

Toby Leos, a 10-year veteran of the Bogalusa Police Department, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant.

Nick Glenn, a four-year veteran of the Bogalusa Police Department, was promoted to the rank of sergeant.
