Joshua M. Tate passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, in Ferriday.

He is survived by his brothers, Jeremy Tate of Poplarville, Miss., and Justin Wheat of Bogalusa; his grandfather, Keith Roach of Maurepas; grandmother, Susan (O’Brien) Hodge of Poplarville; uncle, Brian (Diane) Wheat of Bogalusa; two people who he considered his brothers, Paige Doyle and Cole Wheat; along with many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Craig Tate; mother, Latrisha Wheat; grandfathers, Houston Wheat and Noral Tate; grandmother, Faye Roach; uncle, Andy Wheat; and aunt, Nikki Creel.

There will be a visitation/viewing on Friday, Aug. 3, at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
