WPSO seeks 2 for questioning in shoplifting case

The Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two people wanted for questioning regarding a shoplifting incident at the Dollar General on Highway 21.
Criminal Patrol Sgt. David Cupp responded to a theft by shoplifting incident on Monday, July 16. An investigation determined that a black man entered the store and took several items and left the store without paying. The clerk pursued the individual into the parking lot, where he left in a black ford SUV driven by a black woman.
“Help us bring justice to these two individuals,” Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal said. “I urge anyone with information about the suspects’ identities to call the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-839-3434.”
