- Classic cars of all makes and colors were on display Thursday at the Open Road Cruisers’ “Cruise-In” event at Zesto’s parking lot.
The Open Road Cruisers Car Club and other car enthusiasts got together in the Zesto’s parking lot the evening of Thursday, July 12.
The prior month’s “Cruise-In” was cancelled due to rain, so the club held over the cash drawings and added them to this month’s drawings — to make a total of $2,000. Twenty $100 prizes were drawn and given out to registered car owners. 50/50 Tickets were sold and one lucky winner was drawn and received $400.
The car club meets every second Thursday of the month in the parking lot in Bogalusa. There were 100 or so cars registered Thursday, and a very big crowd of onlookers stopped to view the automobiles.
If anyone is interested in joining the club or wants more information, call Jeff at 985-516-0643 or Robert at 985-750-2112.
Some of the lucky winners included Kevin Singley, J.E. Singley, Danny Knight, Steven McMurray, Mike Warren and Terry Breland, just to name a few.
The big $400 winner of the night was Kenny Warino, who is a member of the Misfit’s Car Club from Bay St Louis, Miss.
