Winnie Seal Williams, born Dec. 4, 1935, went home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2018, at the age of 82. She served the community as a nurse and a caregiver. She was a member of Angie Baptist Church, and after retiring she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by a son, Gene Williams, and his wife Genie Fornea Williams Stogner; one daughter, Wanda Gayle Stogner; a sister, Elsie Freeman; four grandchildren, Joshua, Williams, Loren Williams, Christina Seal and Alisha Thomas; one great-grandchild, Cheyenne E. Seal; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobson and Nola Hodges Seal; her husband, Alvin Arvis Williams; three brothers, Paul Seal, Doyle Seal and Dale Seal; and one sister, Opal Chestant.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 18, beginning at 10 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. The Rev. Kathy Phleider officiated the services and the interment followed in the Williams Cemetery located on Alton Williams Road in Angie.
