James B. Reid Jr., passed away at his residence in Bogalusa on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at the age of 52. He was born in Bogalusa on Dec. 23, 1965.

He is survived by a sister, Paula Wilson; a niece, Jenifer Patterson; and four nephews, Brian Thompson Jr., Bradly Thomas, Orrin Thomas and Spencer Thomas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Abby Reid; his parents, James B. Reid Sr. and Viola White Reid; and a nephew, Brian Thompson Sr.
