On June 25, 2018, Julia Ette Baughman McCain, 71, passed away in her home and went to be with the Lord. She was born on Oct. 29, 1946, in Tylertown, Miss., and a lifetime resident of Angie.
She is survived by four kids, John McCain and wife Katherine McCain, John d’Aquin, Amanda Branch and husband Danny Branch Jr., and Eloise McCain Applewhite; three grandchildren, Jennifer McCain, Hannah McCain, and Allie McCain; seven great-grandchildren, Jaidyn Delaune, Savannah DeLaune, Jeslyn Miller, William d’Aquin, Addison d’Aquin, Gabrielle Graves, McKashlee Ezell, and an unborn grandson, Kye Fornea. She is survived by a “special” daughter, Bridget Bria and husband Johnnie Bria; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Tilly McCain; a daughter, Brenda d’Aquin; grandson, Clifton d’Aquin; a great-grandson, Sterling Miller; her parents, Velma and Houston Baughman; and 10 siblings.
Visitation will be at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, June 29, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 30, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Kelly Penton officiating. Interment will follow at Bonnie Cemetery in Angie.
Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Fornea, Kevin Darr, Danny Darr, Danny Branch Jr., Nelson Warren and Jason Ard.
