The Franklinton Police Department recently identified the man who was fatally shot in a homicide last Friday night that is still under investigation.

FPD officials recognized the victim as Keith E. Magee Sr., 62, of Greenlaw Avenue in Franklinton. The shooting took place along Greenlaw Avenue.

On Friday, June 22, FPD officers responded to a 911 call of shots fired, and found Magee’s body with multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle on Greenlaw Avenue.

FPD officials said that the department’s Investigations Division is continuing to process evidence and gather information related to the crime.
