Ricky Wayne Barnes, 58, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa. He was born in Bogalusa on May 22, 1960.

He is survived by his daughter, Rikki Danielle Mayeaux (James); his granddaughter, Ava Dell Rose; a sister, Patricia Barnes Crain; a brother, Barry Barnes (Shannon); special companion, Delee Samford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Willman Barnes and Martha Dell Rhoden Barnes; and a brother, Gerald “Scooter” Barnes.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Thursday, June 28, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Larry Lassley and the Rev. Travis Houston officiating. Interment will follow at Thomas Cemetery in Bush.
