Deborah Galloway

Deborah “Debbie” Diane Blackwell Galloway, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, at the age of 61. She was born on June 6, 1957, in Jackson, Miss.

She is survived by a daughter, Shelly (Tony) Solano; two sons, Joey (Kristi) Galloway, and Jimmy Galloway; a sister, Suzone Graham; and a brother, Ed (Cecilia) Blackwell all of Bogalusa; a sister-in-law, Carol Blackwell of Denham Springs; and nine grandchildren, Jordan (Bethanie) Galloway, Haley Branton, Brooke Galloway, Ronnie Galloway, Angel Solano, Savannah Galloway, Alissa Galloway, Joseph Galloway and Antonio Solano.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Red” Galloway; her parents, Charles Edward Blackwell and Audrey Lee Tuttle Blackwell; a grandson, Alex Galloway; her brothers, Rickey Blackwell and Charles Blackwell Jr.; and her brother-in-law, Mickey Graham.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 13, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 14, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fred Brumfield and the Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Isabel Baptist Church Cemetery.
