Charlotte Rae Bennett, 35, went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2018. Charlotte was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two sons; her mother, Colleen Singleton of Livonia; and her father and step mother, Dana and Ruth Bennett of Bogalusa; sister, Candice Louise Bennett and companion Matt of Bogalusa; half-sister, Alieen Renee Singleton of Livonia; aunt and uncles, Deborah Wamsley and her husband Mark of Baton Rouge, Robert Bridges and his wife Kerri of Houston, Texas, and Norma Bennett Lee and her friend Jimmy Corkern of Bogalusa; as well as numerous other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Warren and Irma Bridges; and paternal grandparents, Frankie and Mildred Bennett.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 6, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, June 7, from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. Joe Roszelle will officiate, with burial to follow at McGehee Cemetery.
