Rosemary Keller

Rosemary Keller was born on Feb. 23, 1970, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Charlena Henderson Little and Anthony Charles Keller. She was adopted by her grandparents, the late Rosie Mary Keller and the late Eddie Keller.

She and her brother would come to Bogalusa in the summer and Christmas holiday. She was a member of First Baptist Congregational Church in Chicago, and participated in the choir and other youth activities. She graduated from Lane Tech High School in 1987 and attended Southern University in Baton Rogue, graduating in 1991 with a B.S. degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She worked in the Texas School System and the Chicago Schools. She later attended school and became an aesthetician and manicurist.

Rosemary’s memory will be cherished by special companion, Samuel Keith Griffin of Bogalusa; three brothers, Keith Keller (Latrina) of Chicago, Ill., Maurice McToy and Jerry Jones of Detroit, Mich.; her sister, Terri Little of Detroit, Mich.; aunts, Barbara Dianne Keller and Marcella Keller of Chicago, and Lulla Keller of Bogalusa; childhood friend, Necchi Boyd of Baton Rouge; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rosemary Keller departed this life on Sunday, May 13, 2018, and was preceded in death by her parents, Charlena Little and Anthony Keller; grandparents, Eddie Keller Jr. and Rose Mary Keller; and brother, Ronnie R. Jones.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 26, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Minister Domet Dooley officiating.
