Patsy Dianne Smith, 61, a resident of Pine, died Sunday morning May 20, 2018, at her home.

Dianne worked alongside her family in the parts department of Smith & Smith, Inc. for many years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and liked to watch the beautiful cardinals that fed from her backyard feeders each day. Dianne liked tending to her flowers and enjoyed making crafts. She also loved drinking her favorite, Dr Pepper. She always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by: two daughters and a son-in-law, Jessica Dunham of Franklinton, and Johanna and Dustin Nielson of Pine; grandchildren, Colton Nielson and Rhett Nielson, both of Pine; mother, Elaine Crain Smith of Pine; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie Smith of Franklinton, Jeff and Loretta Smith, and Rusty and Tiffany Smith all of Pine; and also numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Pat Smith; and Jimmy Wilson Thomas Sr.

Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 22, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Eld. Donnie Broome officiating. Burial will follow in the Seal Cemetery at Stateline.

Pallbearers will be Austin Hughes, Evan Smith, Easton Smith, Danny Nielson, Brad Swann and Brian Seal. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kyle Smith and Jimmy Thomas Jr.
