Ada Jeanne Forrest, born May 29, 1934, passed peacefully on April 28, 2018, at Southeast Medical Center in Kentwood at the age of 83. Ada was a Registered Nurse and spent most of her time helping in the medical services in the Bogalusa community. She was a member of Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church.

She leaves behind a son, Marcus Forrest and his wife Medina Graham Forrest of Bogalusa; a grandson, Jon Creel; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Corrine; a sister-in-law, Laura Thomas of Hammond; nieces and nephews and other family members and friends also, along with two loving caregivers, Matthew Bush and Tammy Green; and a special friend, Judy Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Penny; her husband, Joseph K. Forrest; a daughter, Penney J. Forrest; and a brother, Jake Penny.

There will be a Celebration Of Life Service held on Wednesday, May 9, beginning at 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. There will be speakers at the service.
