Octavia Ledoux Sansovich passed away at the age of 90 in Baton Rouge, surrounded by her loving family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michel Edward Sansovich Jr.; her parents, Aline Marie and William James Ledoux; and her brother, William James Ledoux Jr.

Octavia is survived by her six children, Deborah S. Schexnayder (Glenn), Michel Sansovich III (Kathy), William James Sansovich (Linda), Scott Sansovich (Leslie), Alan Sansovich (Aileen) and Neal Sansovich (Tessa); and her sister, Millie Underwood. She will be dearly missed by her 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Bogalusa, and graduated from Bogalusa High School. In 1948, she graduated from Hotel Dieu School of Nursing. Octavia will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her presence in our lives was a blessing from God.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 28, in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son, located at 3827 Canal St. in New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until Mass time.
