Kenneth Wayne Holmes of Bogalusa, born June 14, 1968, departed this life on April 22, 2018, at the age of 49.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia K. Holmes of Bogalusa; one brother, Christopher Todd Holmes of Bogalusa; one sister, Jennifer Authement of Florida; and two nieces, Reagan Holmes of Biloxi, Miss., and Bree Authement of Florida.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Wayne Holmes; and his grandparents, Jewell and Mary Lee Holmes, Monroe and Allie Kennedy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, at Highland Baptist Church in Bogalusa. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until time of service at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Jerry Kennedy will officiate. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
