Evelyn Jones Fitzmorris, 83, passed away April 15, 2018, at her residence in Sun.

She is survived by a son, Terry Fitzmorris of Sun; daughter, Mike Fitzmorris of Sun; one brother, Dwight Jones of Isabel; sisters, Betty Carroll of Bogalusa, Floyce Crain of Sun, and Ethle Wilson of Bogalusa; grandchildren, Christopher J. Fitzmorris and Dusty Fitzmorris; and four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Fitzmorris; her father, Elmer Jones; her mother, Alda Adams Bennett; and one sister, Jackie Pounds.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home beginning at 5 p.m. and continuing until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue of Thursday from 8 a.m. until time for service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Adams Cemetery in Isabel.
