Cheryl Vernon Warren, a resident of Franklinton, 69, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three sons, Brian Carpenter of Pearland, Texas, Dwayne (Starra) Bickham of Tacoma, Wash. and Brandon Vernon of Texas City, Texas; one sister, Tony Glasper of Mansfield, Texas; two brothers, Calvin (Gwen) Vernon of Fort Worth, Texas, and Rondy Vernon of Franklinton; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Grutch” Vernon and Doretha Vernon; one sister, Cuba Watson; and one brother, William Vernon Jr.

The visitation will be held Friday, April 13, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness with Eld. Kevin Golden, pastor officiating. Interment will be held at Sweet Home Church Cemetery.
