Mrs. Kellie Mae Martin Bickham was called to her heavenly home on Friday, March 30, 2018, at Riverside Medical Hospital in Franklinton.

Kellie was a retired employee of the Washington Parish School Board (Pine High School) where she was an inspiration to many. She always did her best. “Job well done.”

Kellie Mae was a very active member of Hayes Chapel United Methodist Church until her health failed. She was an active member of the Administrative Board, choir and the United Methodist Women. She will be truly missed.

Her memories will live on in her children: son, Kenneth D. (Trenice) Bickham of Franklinton; daughters, Stephanie Burris of North Dakota, Donna Bickham of Hackley; brother, Donald Ray (Jackie) Martin of Franklinton; sisters, Sarah Lee Nichols of Angie, Gloria Hart of Hackley, Frances Anders of Baton Rouge, Edna (Abron) Magee of Franklinton, Alice Faye Magee of Houston, Texas, and Pricilla Martin of Mandeville; grandchildren, Jonathan Bickham, Jerry Burris Jr., Keyon Bickham, Sky Williams, Jhanice Dawson and Briyana Dawson; three great-grandchildren; extended family, Terrence and Cynthia August and children; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jeremiah Bickham; parents, K. T and Evie Martin; daughter, Paula Bickham; and brothers, Louis, Johnny and Gregory Martin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 7, at 2 p.m. at Hayes Chapel United Methodist Church in Hackley, with the Rev. Anice Moses officiating and the Rev. Terrence August eulogist. Interment will be in the Hayes United Methodist Church Cemetery.
