Hillion “Hollywood” Temples passed from this life to the next on March 6, 2018, at the age of 81. He was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends alike. He was a lifelong resident of Washington Parish.

He is survived by two daughters, Bridgette (Doug) Jones and Bronis (Daniel) Sauls; one granddaughter, Savannah (Caleb) Parker; two great-grandchildren, Drew and Addison Parker; and one sister, Lillie Temples Effler.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Stogner Temples; his parents, Rudolf and Melvenia Temples; two brothers, Everette and Buck Temples; and his grandson, Douglas Decota (Cody) Jones.

He retired from the paper mill with 48 years of service.

He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, March 9 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Visitation will continue Saturday, March 10, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, followed by interment at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
