United Way will be having a “Live United” volunteer day on Friday, Feb. 16, from 9 a.m. until noon. The day will be held at Goodyear Park, located at 499 Ave. B in Bogalusa, as volunteers will be installing a “Born Learning Trail.” The trail will be an interactive, playful outdoor learning tool that promotes early literacy and encourages physical activity for young children. The trail is part of United Way’s Born Learning program, a long-standing initiative to support early learning and school readiness.
