Karen Sundberg Jenkins, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, at the age of 66.

She was born on Aug. 29, 1951 in Bogalusa. She was Queen XI of MCCA, and a charter member of Mash.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Jenkins of Bogalusa; a daughter, Candice Jenkins of Vail, Colo.; a son, Barrett Jenkins of Hammond; and a granddaughter, Tyler Elizabeth Martin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Douglas Sundberg and Jereldine Adams Sundberg.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
