Georgia Robinson

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing” (2 Timothy 4:7-8).
On Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, Georgia Camille Brown Robinson went home to be with the Lord. She was born on Feb. 22, 1932, to the late Senary Armstrong and the late Fritz Armstrong. She married the late Roscoe Robinson on Oct. 2, 1993.
Sister Georgia Brown Robinson was a person who loved watching Western movies, word searches, going on outings with friends, sewing and cooking. Sister Robinson was an active member of the Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church. She served as president of the Usher Board, a Sunday School Teacher for class No. 2 and a member of the Senior Mission. The witness of her faithfulness will forever be remembered and a blessing to everyone.
She leaves to cherish her memories four children, Odessa Brown, Gary Armstrong (Yolanda), Carey Brown and Ronald Brown (Lillie), all of Bogalusa; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Senary Armstrong; her father, Fritz Armstrong; three daughters, Carol Brown, Eulundy Brown and Cheryl Lewis; one son, Austin Brown Jr.; five brothers, five sisters and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, at the church from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Dr. Raymond E. Mims Sr. will be officiating.
Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
