Donald Freeman

Donald Andrew Freeman, born July 24, 1975, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 22, 2018, at the age of 42. He worked as a Medical Respiratory Therapist and was of the Pentecostal Faith. He was a member of the Arawynes Motorcycle Club and was a musician and loved music.

He is survived by his mother, Lynda Freeman of Bogalusa; a son, Donald Allen Freeman of Thomas; a daughter, Caitlyn Nicole Freeman; his former wife, Lisa Freeman, also of Bush; sister-in-law, Patricia Thomas and her husband Cole of Thomas; a niece, Amanda LeAnne Bennett; two nephews, Richard Keith Martin and Patrick Levi Thomas; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Freeman; and a sister, Laurinda Freeman Martin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 26, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home, beginning at 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., and will resume Saturday morning after 8 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. The services will be officiated by the Rev. Wesley Quave and assisted by the Rev. Shadd Pittman and the Rev. David Easterling. Interment will follow in the Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
