Bogalusa Director of Public Works James Hall said Tuesday that members of the public have been calling his office and asking why they don’t have water.

“We tell them it’s not us,” he said. “We don’t have the water off. Their lines just froze.”

“We (did) have a single line out at the airport, and a single line to the lavatory at Cassidy Park, but those were just outside faucets.”

He described them as “small problems.”

Hall said that the Richardson Town waterline tie-in project was unaffected by the bitter cold.
