John Randolph “Randy” Keaton, 66, passed away on Jan. 1, 2018, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. He was a deacon and member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Vallie Beth Grantham Keaton of Bogalusa; one son, Garon Scott Keaton (Wendy) of Lancaster, S.C.; daughters, Wendy R. Seal (Mark) of Angie, and Amanda L. Keaton (Jerry) of Bogalusa; one brother, Ronald R. Keaton (Suzanne) of Bush; one sister, Elaine R. Williams (Mark) of New Orleans; and five grandchildren, Brenna Blackwell, Cameron Blackwell, April Seal, Wyatt Watson and Jacob Adams.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Edward “Buck” and Clarice Cowart Keaton; and a sister, Janet R. Keaton.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 4, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and will continue on Friday, Jan. 5, from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Morelock and the Rev. Rickie Wilson will officiate.
