Dr. Glynn A. Hebert “Doc” passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by family, on Dec. 24, 2017, at the age of 78.

He is known and loved throughout the community for his 54 years of practice in family medicine from which he retired in January. Dr. Hebert was also a U.S. Army veteran.

Dr. Hebert is survived by his wife, Karen Martin Hebert; son, Glynn Hebert Jr. (Kellie); stepson, Greg Page Jr. (Lauren); daughters, Kim Hebert Sabille (Mark), Kerry Hebert Balado, Kelly Hebert Mizell (Yuan), Dr. Kathy Hebert Willis (Shane); stepdaughter, Lori Sandifer (Shane); sister, Jackie Hebert; nephew, Robbie Miller; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Adlar Hebert; and his mother, Hilda Guidry Hebert.

Doc will always be remembered by his staff, colleagues, family, and friends as a humble man who rarely missed an opportunity for a prank or a chance to make someone smile. He was a wise man who touched countless hearts and lives and will truly be missed.

Visitation will be held at Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 29, from 1 p.m. until the time for services at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens.
