John David Dufren Jr., 53, passed away on Dec. 20, 2017, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Viola Davis of Bogalusa; one brother, Luther Earl Davis of Beaumont, Miss.; one sister, Mildred Ann Watkings; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Dufren Sr.; one brother, Clifford Watkins; and sister, Bilinda Marie Dufren.

Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 22, from 9 a.m. until the service time at 1 p.m. Burial followed in Hillview Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Mike Drury officiated.
