Kenneth Ray Adams Sr. passed away on Dec. 16, 2017, at Lacombe Nursing Home at the age of 76. Kenneth was born in Bogalusa on June 15, 1941, and was a resident of Mandeville. He was a retired electrician in the New Orleans area and was also a member of the New Orleans Chapter of the IBEW.

Kenneth is survived by two sons, Kenny (Dodie) Adams Jr. of Mandeville, and Randy Charles Adams of Mandeville; a daughter, Jeannean (Rod) Hereford of Slidell; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by a special friend, Geraldine Suitt; his parents, Luther Pierce Adams Sr. and David Louise Robertson Adams; a son, Frank Adams; and his brothers, David Wayne Adams, Bobby Adams and Luther Pierce Adams Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 21, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, located at 216 Alabama Ave. in Bogalusa, beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at the service time at 11 a.m. The funeral will begin at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with Pastor Eddie Swan officiating. Interment will follow the service, at Adams Cemetery in Bogalusa.
